Grand Opening

The official opening of our brand new clubhouse will start at 1230 on Saturday with lots of friends, members, players, family and special guests.

Past WHC President, Robin Carr will be joined by Councillor John Oldfield, Lyle Acott of The Argus, Rt. Hon. Nick Herbert MP and Simon Liley Headmaster of The Angmering School to cut the ribbon and mark the occasion.

Shortly after, the Men’s first XI team, who are scheduled to play their match at 1pm, will be joined by the special guests and England and Great Britain player, Luke Taylor to present their new team shirts.

Huge thanks goes to our fantastic sponsors and supporters; Heaton House, Direct Blinds, Flude Commercial, Block Wealth Management, Dennis Watkins, Charles Kirk, Charterhouse, HD Tribe Ltd, Noori’s, Michael Jones & Co, Regatta, Frontier Pitt, The Argus and Sussex Hockey.

Moving to the new pitch and building the new clubhouse has only been possible through an immense amount of hours put in by friends, member and players who helped lay foundations, dig holes, build and decorate our new home.
