Andie's Golf Day 2019

This year’s annual Worthing Hockey Club charity golf day, renamed Andie’s Golf Day after our good friend and fellow member Andie Chambers, saw over 60 players tee-off at Hill Barn Golf Club on Saturday 8th June 2019.

After a hearty breakfast in the golf club dining room teams took in some practice shots before all heading out for 18 holes Texas Scramble. While the sun blessed them the winds whipped round the 75 year old South Downs course adding an extra element to the technical fairways.

By mid afternoon all teams were back, all be it a little wind blown, with big smiles having enjoyed a great day of golf, some friendly competition and an Avalanche Cocktail on the 11th hole – Andie’s celebration drink where she had her hole-in-one.
